The CHE announced today that multiple higher education data resources have been added to our website in the past month:
- Distance Education Dashboard: This comprehensive analysis explores distance education trends in South Carolina and compares them to the 15-state Southern Regional Educational Board area. Using data sourced from the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), it provides valuable insights into participation in distance education and highlights the need for more robust data collection in this area.
- Academic Programs and Career Clusters Dashboard: Designed for institutional administrators and state decision-makers, this tool offers detailed insights into academic program trends across South Carolina. It links these trends to career clusters and workforce regions, providing data from 1992 to 2024.
- Merit and Non-Merit Aid Factbook: This updated analysis combines CHE Management Information System (CHEMIS) and Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) data with student-level demographic details to track trends in merit and non-merit scholarships from 2008 to 2023. The analysis includes detailed information on award amounts, financial aid trends, institutional data, and cost of attendance.
- 2024 Institutional Factsheet: The latest factsheet offers an up-to-date snapshot of institutional characteristics and performance metrics. This resource provides key information on institutional data for the year 2024.
