Crystal Standifer, SAA program coordinator, was presented with the NASAA President’s Award for her outstanding work with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office and her leadership as chair of NASAA’s Risk-Based Survey and Supervisory Visit Committee.

SAA Director Frank Myers received the NASAA Star Award for creating the NASAA New Director Mentor’s Guide. In recognition of his contributions to professional development within the organization, NASAA also announced the creation of a new annual honor – the Frank Myers Mentorship Award.

The SAA works closely with NASAA and the VA to ensure quality educational programs for veterans and eligible family members across South Carolina.
