The application window for the South Carolina National Guard College Assistance Program for the spring and summer 2023 semesters will open at 12:01 a.m. Nov 20, and close at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 15.

The South Carolina National Guard will not accept applications outside of this window. CAP will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis. It is critical for SCNG National Guard servicemembers who missed the first application window to apply.

The Spring application will be available at https://getsmartsc.com/ or through the CHE website (Information for Active Duty, Veterans and GI Bill Beneficiaries | CHE (sc.gov) for both Air and Army National Guard servicemembers.
