The application window for the South Carolina National Guard College Assistance Program for the spring and summer 2026 semesters will open at 12:01 a.m. Nov 20, and close at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 15.

This application window is ONLY for New CAP eligible students or CAP eligible students who missed the first deadline. If you are currently receiving CAP benefits, please DO NOT reapply.

The South Carolina National Guard will not accept applications outside of this window. CAP will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.  

The application will be available at https://che.sc.gov/scngcap.
