Students who plan to attend college, career school, or trade school between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026 should fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form to be eligible for as much financial aid as possible through federal, state and other sources.
The U.S. Department of Education Office of Federal Student Aid will host a free one-day webinar on Dec. 10 to guide participants through the 2025–26 FAFSA form submission. This event is for independent and dependent students, parents, and college/career professionals. It will feature the following:
- A live demonstration of the 2025–26 FAFSA form
- An overview of the financial aid process, available federal student aid programs, and funding sources
- Key facts and common myths about financial aid
- A guide on creating and accessing your StudentAid.gov account
- A demonstration on where to find certain information on StudentAid.gov
