The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education and the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence at Fort Gordon, Ga., maintain a continuing education degree program articulation agreement and academic partnership to support the growth of each organization’s students and workforce.

This partnership allows soldiers to receive course credit from CHE-recognized cyber and computer science-related programs at participating South Carolina institutions.

CHE-recognized institutions are public and independent degree-conferring colleges and universities based in South Carolina that satisfy the following criteria:

• Academic programs in cyber or related computer science or intelligence curricula that support the purposes of the Cyber Center of Excellence.
• Regional accreditation in good standing (no sanctions).
• National Security Agency/Department of Homeland Security certification as a Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) for cyber programs.
